Bill Hemmer
Bill Hemmer has covered many major stories since his tenure at the network, including: the British sailors' hostage situation in Iran (where he reported live from London); the crisis in the Middle East; the rescue efforts for miners trapped in West Virginia; and the recovery efforts in Baton Rouge after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Additionally, he has provided live coverage while embedded with U.S. Marines in Camp Fallujah, Iraq. And, most recently, Hemmer has provided coverage of the 2008 presidential election from various locations.
Prior to FNC, Hemmer worked as an anchor and correspondent at CNN where he co-hosted "American Morning." While there, he also anchored "CNN Live Today" and "CNN Tonight." He provided live coverage from Rome and Vatican City on the death of Pope John Paul II and in 2004 he covered both the Democratic and Republican conventions and served as one of CNN's prime-time anchors on election night.
Bill O'Reilly
For more than seven consecutive years, "The O'Reilly Factor" on the FOX News Channel has been the highest rated of any cable news show. No program even comes close.
It is presided over by Bill O'Reilly, the man who smiles when he calls himself, "Your humble correspondent." O'Reilly probably is the most controversial, most frequently discussed TV analyst today.
"The Factor," as most people call it, remains an unequaled blend of news analysis and hard-hitting investigative reporting dropped into what Bill reminds us nightly is "The No Spin Zone."
In addition to his cable show, Bill finds time to do a daily two-hour radio show (heard on more than 400 stations), to turn out a weekly column appearing in more than 300 papers, and to write books.
Bret Baier
Bret Baier is the anchor of "Special Report with Bret Baier." He formerly served as Chief White House Correspondent for FOX News Channel. In this capacity, Baier reported on presidential activities on a national and international level.
Prior to being named Chief White House Correspondent, Baier served as National Security Correspondent and reported on military and national security affairs, as well as on defense, military policy and the intelligence community from the Pentagon.
Throughout his career, he has secured numerous exclusive interviews with government officials, including interviews with President Bush, Vice President Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Peter Pace and Richard Myers, among others.
Brian Kilmeade
Brian Kilmeade is co-host of the network's morning show, "FOX & Friends," which has been the No. 1 morning program on all of cable news for more than seven years. He also serves as the network's sports anchor covering all major sporting events and breaking news.
As a co-host for the network's morning show "FOX & Friends," which has been the No. 1 morning program on all of cable news for more than seven year, his interviews with the biggest names in politics, entertainment and sports have made national headlines. Most recently Kilmeade conducted an exclusive interview with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Kilmeade also provided live coverage of the final Tee-ball game on the White House Lawn; and secured an exclusive interview with President George W. Bush. He covered the Democratic National Convention and Republican National Convention live from The FOX Experience. Kilmeade also played a large part in September 11 coverage as well as reported outside of Iraq as the buildup to Operation Iraqi Freedom was in its final phase. He also has been the co-host of the radio show, "Brian and the Judge," heard nationally on 80 stations, as well as XM and Sirius Radio, since 2006.
Glenn Beck
Glenn Beck joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2008. He hosts "Glenn Beck," Monday through Friday from 5-6 p.m. ET. Beck's signature program breaks down and examines various stories and topics through the lens of his unique libertarian perspective.
Beck also hosts a nationally syndicated radio show ("The Glenn Beck Program") which is heard in over 300 cities and is one of the highest-rated national talk shows among adults ages 25 to 54. In 2008, Beck won the Marconi Radio Award for Network Syndicated Radio Personality of the Year.
Prior to joining FNC, he served as the host of "Glenn Beck," a talk show on CNN's Headline News which grew more than 200 percent in viewership in both the 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. timeslots during its tenure from 2006 to 2008. While at Headline News, Beck secured many interviews including Senator John McCain, Governor Sarah Palin, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Georgia President Mikheil Saakashvili and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.
Greta Van Susteren
Greta Van Susteren joined Fox News Channel (FNC) in January 2002 as the host of the prime-time news and interview program, "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren" (10-11 p.m. ET/PT Mondays through Fridays), which launched in February 2002. "On the Record" is the highest rated cable news program in the 10 p.m. timeslot.
While at FOX News Channel Van Susteren has covered a wide range of high-profile court cases including the trials of Scott Peterson and Michael Jackson as well as the trials following the death of Anna Nicole Smith. While covering the disappearance of Natalee Holloway from Aruba, she secured an exclusive interview with the father of a leading suspect, Paul van der Sloot, which led to his detainment as a suspect in the disappearance.
Most recently, Van Susteren provided on-site coverage of the Virginia Tech massacre, including hosting a one-hour special where she interviewed students, families and others directly affected by the shootings.
Gretchen Carlson
Gretchen Carlson joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in June 2005 and is the co-anchor of "FOX & Friends," the No. 1 cable morning program. She also regularly contributes to "The O'Reilly Factor."
Most recently, during the 2008 presidential election, Carlson interviewed every candidate; including President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senator John McCain, Senator Fred Thompson, Governor Mike Huckabee, Governor Mitt Romney, and Mayor Rudy Giuliani. She also provided live coverage of the Democratic National Convention in Denver and the Republican National Convention in St. Paul. Notably, Carlson has also interviewed former first lady Laura Bush on several occasions.
Megyn Kelly
Megyn Kelly is currently a co-host of FOX News Channel's "America's Newsroom." She also appears regularly on "The O'Reilly Factor With Bill O'Reilly."
Most recently, Kelly analyzed exit poll information on Election Night and co-anchored "America's Election HQ" with Bill Hemmer throughout the 2008 presidential election season. Kelly reported live from the Democratic National Convention and Republican National Convention.
Kelly reported on the 2007 Virginia Tech campus massacre, live from Blacksburg, Virginia, and while rescue efforts were underway for the 6 trapped miners from Huntington, Utah. She also reported live from Durham, North Carolina on the rape charges against three Duke University lacrosse players, breaking new details that ultimately helped exonerate the defendants.
Neil Cavuto
Neil Cavuto was named anchor and managing editor of business news for the FOX News Channel in July 1996. He is now the senior vice president of Business News and host of "Your World With Neil Cavuto."
Most recently, Cavuto hosted the "FOX News Special Business Report: Capital Crashers" live from the White House lawn, covering the Financial Summit of World Leaders in Washington, D.C. In addition, he hosted the September 11, 2008 Service, and National Presidential Candidates Forum live from Columbia University for FOX Business Network). Cavuto also reported live from the Democratic and Republican National Conventions for both FNC and FBN.
Sean Hannity
Sean Hannity joined the FOX News Channel (FNC) in September 1996. He currently hosts his self titled program, "Hannity" (Monday-Friday, 9-10 p.m. ET). He is one of the most prominent and influential conservative voices in the country and his program offers a mix of news, commentary, interviews and branded segments such as the Great American Panel -- made up of three nightly in-studio guests from across the political spectrum to discuss the issues of the day. Since Hannity debuted on January 12, has averaged 2.8 million viewers each night (frequently doubling the viewer total for his cable news competition), making it the second-highest rated program in all of cable news behind FOX News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor."
Previously, Hannity co-hosted "Hannity & Colmes" with Alan Colmes for 12 years which was the second-highest rated program in cable news.
Shepard Smith
Shepard Smith, who re-signed a multi-year deal with FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2007, serves as the network's lead news anchor. Smith anchors FNC's evening newscast, "The FOX Report with Shepard Smith," from 7-8 p.m. ET each weeknight, in addition to serving as host of "Studio B with Shepard Smith" during the weekday afternoons from 3-4 p.m. ET.
Most recently, Smith anchored wall-to-wall coverage of the death of Michael Jackson on the day the news broke. He has also recently provided extensive coverage of the civil unrest in Iran following the election, as well as the breaking news of the Holocaust Museum shooting.
This past year, Smith anchored FOX Broadcast Company's Election Night coverage of the 2008 presidential election. He also provided live coverage of the presidential and vice presidential debates during the 2008 campaign season. Additionally, Smith reported on Hurricane Gustav live from New Orleans on top of anchoring political coverage of the Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
Steve Doocy
Steve Doocy serves as one of FOX News Channel's co-anchors for its top-rated morning show "FOX & Friends." Most recently Doocy covered the Democratic National Convention live from Denver and the Republican National Convention live from St. Paul.
Before joining FNC in November 1996, he was co-anchor for WCBS-TV's "Early Morning Newscast." Prior to his stint with WCBS-TV, Doocy hosted "Wake Up America," a daily program on NBC's America's Talking. From 1990 to 1994, Doocy was host of "Not Just News," FOX's children's newsmagazine and was also host of NBC's nationally syndicated program "House Party" from 1989 to 1990.
