The Weather Channel Companies Names Ann Brown SVP of Client Solutions

The Weather ChannelThe Weather Channel Companies (TWCC) today named Ann Brown senior vice president of client solutions.  In this role, Brown will work with clients on strategic development and integration across TWCC platforms, including The Weather Channel network and digital properties such as weather.com and The Weather Channel Mobile.  She will be based in TWCC's New York office and report to Beth Lawrence, executive vice president of sales and media solutions for TWCC.  

"Ann's experience and knowledge of integrating client strategy dovetails perfectly with the growth TWCC is striving toward across all platforms.  As the leader in cross-platform usage, TWCC delivers results for advertisers who want to reach consumers via television, web and mobile," said Lawrence.

Brown joins TWCC from Time Warner Global Media, where she most recently served as senior vice president of creative strategy.  Brown started at Time Warner as a vice president in 2003, and she helped develop programs that leveraged multiple media assets across Time Warner for notable clients such as Johnson & Johnson, GM, Ford, WalMart and Pfizer.  Brown has also held marketing positions at College Television Network (later acquired by MTV), the Fox Family Channel and NBC after several roles at agencies. 

Brown is a member of the Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) and was named among the Ad Age Top 100 Marketers in 2001.  She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at Rutgers University and resides in Darien, CT, with her family.
